In the video, Lake decks himself out in the classic Max Payne Hawaiian shirt and leather jacket combo, complete with pained (payned?) expression, while alongside McCaffrey, thanks are given to the original development team, many of whom are no longer with the Finnish developer behind Control, and the first two Max Payne games. To celebrate, writer and face of Max Payne, Sam Lake, and voice of Max Payne, James McCaffrey, have teamed up for a special anniversary message.
Today marks the 20th anniversary of Remedy's original Max Payne game, first released on 23rd July 2001.
